She was predeceased by: her parents, L. W. Hawkins and Katie Barger Hawkins; her sister Cynthia Thornton; and her sister-in-law Sheila Hawkins. She is survived by: her sons, Cary Nichols (Amy) and Chris Nichols; her nephew Doug Watson; her grandchildren, Cody Nichols, Hallie Nichols, Addison Nichols and Hayden Nichols; and her siblings, Carlotta Watson (Joe), Charles Hawkins, Mike Hawkins (Cathy), Claudetta Keen and Rebecca Bramlett. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
