She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin L. Gierer and Emma Leona Faddis Gierer; her husband Richard W. Leavitt; and her stepson Richard Dean Leavitt. She is survived by: her children, Christopher G. Tripp of Sikeston, Deric M. Tripp of Sikeston and Bridget Leavitt (Marrisa) of Sikeston; and her grandchildren, A. J. Keefe of Sikeston and Sky Leavitt of St. Louis. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
