With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jana Wrather (Sikeston, Missouri), who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Lee "Cotton" Gwinn and Margaret "Peg" McEachern-Gwinn; her husband Robert "Bobby" Wrather; and her sister Linda Schnell. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheri Hillis (Alvin) of Sikeston, MO, Stacy Younger (Matt) of Murfreesboro, TN and Ashley Fritz (Tanner) of Sikeston, MO; her sister Marlayne Hahn (Jim) of Garden Plain, KS; her brother-in-law Mike Schnell of Wyoming; her grandchildren, Kaeley Evans (Jordon), Alyssa Hillis (Dylan Shands), Paizlee Younger, Deacon Younger, Avery Fritz and Ty Fritz; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Evans, Nora Evans, Frannie Evans, Delilah Blunt and Ivey Shands.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
