He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Sheriff Sr. and Margie James Sheriff. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Sheriff of Forest and Scarlett Rice (Nicholas) of Sikeston, MO; and his siblings, Rodney Sheriff of Louisiana and Stella Gallagher of Michigan. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
