He is survived by: his brothers, Cecil Glenn Freed of St. Louis, Marvin Edward Freed (Barb) of Advance, Danny Lee Freed of Bernie, Arvin Dean Freed (Tonya) of Advance, Kenneth Ray Freed (Rita) of St. Charles and Troy Wayne Freed (Becky) of Bernie; his sister-in-law Becky Emerson Rodgers (Kenny) of Cape Girardeau; his children, Sheilah Deere of Caruthersville, Mark, Brenda Freed of Bertrand and David Allen Freed of Morley; his grandchildren, Andrew, Stephanie Deere of Caruthersville, Deanna, Adam Hoyt of Birmingham, UK, Kelsey Freed of Morley, Ben Freed of Morley, Charles Mark, Mamie Freed of Sikeston, Bryan and Kayce Freed of Kelso; his great grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Deere, Jewelya Deere, Hallie Kay Hoyt, Helena, Cody, Riley and Bailey; and his close friend June Freeman. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morley Cemetery (324 Kirkwood St, Oran, MO 63771).
