We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 87, Ernest W. Jones of Sikeston, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ernest may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oddos Jones and Dettie Brown-Jones; and his sister Judith Ethridge. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Ernest Jones of Oak Forest, IL and Gregory Allen Jones of Blodgett, MO; his sister Wilma Denbow of Harrisburg, IL; his grandchildren, Bradley Jones, Wyatt Jones and Marissa Jones; and his pet Buddy.
