He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Final Burns and Ethel Gertrude Hawkins-Burns. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Kirby-Burns; his son Michael Burns of Sikeston; his siblings, Roger Burns of Sikeston and Darlene Abegg of Godrey, IL; his grandsons, Austin Burns, Lucas Burns and Joshua Burns; and his great grandchildren, Arian Burns, Kota Burns, Clayo Burns, Killian Burns and Maggie Ann Burns.
