He is survived by: his wife Anne Lorraine Simpson; his children, Chuck Simpson (Ann) of Paducah, KY, Edie Erkert (John) of Sewickley, PA and Bobbi King (Brent) of Cape Girardeau, MO; his grandchildren, Emily Erkert, Anissa Erkert, Griffin King (Breah) and Katie Beth Simpson; and his great grandchild Roy Charles Rennie King.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Red Cross Foundation and the Alzheimer's Association.
