He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Wayne Salyer and Wanda Pemberton Salyer; and his siblings, Johnnie Brooks, Judy Brooks Stokes and Barbara Brooks Nolan.
He is survived by: his children, Heath Salyer of Charleston, Sean Salyer of East Prairie, Billie Salyer of Palm Dale, California and Olivia'Dawn'Salyer of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
