Bertha Bowman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Bowman (Sikeston, Missouri), who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayes Estepp and Louetta Couch Estepp; her husband Conley Bowman of Owsley County, KY.; her siblings, Carl Estepp, Hayes Estepp, Jr., Mary Bennett, Hazel Shouse, Beulah Estepp, Ima Jean Burton and Catherine Estepp; and her grandson Jason St. John.
She is survived by: her children, George Bowman (Linda) of Atlanta, GA, Donald Bowman (Maryellen) of Ballwin, MO, Louise St. John of Jackson, MO and Joyce Nysewander (Phil) of Plainfield, IN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations may be sent to Providence Hospice at the Lutheran Home, 2825 Bloomfield Road, Cape Girardeau MO 63701 for expansion of the Hospice Unit.
