He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilbert and Katherine Gilbert; and his father-in-law Kenny Butterworth. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughters, Aimee Brown (Tony) of Sibley, Milee Gage (Stuart) of Blue Springs and Heidee Hakes (Matt) of Sibley; his grandchildren, Lola Brown, Zoe Brown, Josie Brown, Hadlee Hakes, Hudson Hakes and Crosby Hakes; and his sisters, Barbara, Dawna Gilbert of Independence, Anita Colvin (Dave) of Sequim and Janet Dellinger.
