He is survived by: his former wife Rosemary Hazelrigg; his wife Jeanie James; his children, Susan Patton, Julie Carver (Steve), Sharrye Hagins (Geoff) and Phillip Tweedy; his grandchildren, Mike Webb, Jeremy Tweedy (Susan), Mary Barber (Michael), Jessica Cunningham (Josh), Michelle Ellinger, Carrie Berry (Jordan), Jennifer Carver and Jaclyn Fleming (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Kiley, Katelyn, Chase, Isaaic, Ivan, Anthony, Abigail, Cooper, Alexa, Benjamin and Olivia.
