He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Shropshire and Della Shropshire (Davis); his wife Dorothy Lee Coen; and his siblings, Roy Shropshire, Gladys Rinacke, Arnold Shropshire, James Shropshire, Kenneth Shropshire and Elwood Shropshire.
He is survived by: his pet Blackie Nose; his children, Dwane Shropshire (Kebby) of Sibley, MO, Shirley Shropshire of Sibley, MO and Gerald Shropshire (Carrie) of Sibley, MO; and his grandchildren, Steve Jackley, Jason Kimbrell, Amanda Shropshire, Justin Shropshire, Alyssa Shropshire and Brianne Shropshire.
