It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Rooks (Sibley, Missouri), born in North Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 5, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Garrett and Eileen Garrett (Cochel); her husband Leslie; and her grandson Trey Rooks. She is survived by: her sons, Vance Rooks (Dawn) of Buckner, MO and Trent Rooks (Robin) of Nemo, MO; her grandchildren, Vance Rooks, Jr, Laurasha Hawkins, Michael Rooks, Renee Rooks, Kendall Hyatt, Garet Hyatt, Trenton Hyatt, Thaddius French, Gage Reilly, Tracer Bru, Jamie Williams, TJ Rooks, Trisha Rooks and Tia Rooks; and her sisters, Marjorie Argeropoulos, Mary Lou Garrett and Sue Garrett. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in her honor to Independence Animal Services, a no-kill shelter helping pets find their forever home.
