As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Don may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laz Hawk and Hazel Hawk (Hennegin); and his sister Louise (Jim Ross) of Grant City. He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Taylor (Jewell) of Plattsburg, Jack Hawk (Dorrilla) of Grant City and Ann Bergman (Don) of Quincy; and his close friend Pat Ray. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
