Vickie Lynn Mertens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Lynn Mertens of Shell Knob, Missouri, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Gail Brungardt; her husband Mike Mertens; her daughter Shalena Atkinson; and her brother David Brungardt. She is survived by: her father Leonard Brungardt; her children, Heather Hoyer (Jeremy), Jake Atkinson (Kathy) and David Clark (Amanda); her sisters, Christine Hill, Sandra Dee Brungardt and Angela Morgan; her grandchildren, Tanner, Brayden, Seth, Malachi, Trinidy, Landin, Zoe, Kyler and Kyra; and her great grandchildren, Parker and Braxton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shell Knob Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (21023 FR 1252, Shell Knob, MO 65747).
