It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard James of Shell Knob, Missouri, born in Cicero, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil A. Schmitz and Evelyn Schmitz (Campbell). He is survived by: his wife Joann Sterling; his children, Sherri Streicher (John) of Beaverton, Candy Opal of Chicago, Illinois, Dominick McLain (Jennifer) of Springfield and Daniel W. McLain, III of Shell Knob, Missouri; and his sister Beverly Schaper of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
