He was predeceased by: his parents, John Silvey and Marjorie Silvey; his siblings, Floyd, Donald and Edith Mae; and his son Michael.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Hatfield (Tom); his granddaughters, Kristi Bass (Murrell) and Kim Shaner (Brian); and his girlfriend Janet Horine. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
