He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Carlson and Eunice Carlson (Dollard); his wife Thelma D. McConnell; and his sister Margaret Rapp of Springfield, Missouri.. He is survived by: his sons, Chris (Kristi) of Arkansas City, Rex (Tina) of Derby and Randy of Shell Knob, Missouri; and his brothers, Robert Carlson of Shell Knob and Bill Carlson of Parsons, Kansas.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren.
