Laverne Leininger Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Leininger (Sheldon, Missouri), who passed away on November 9, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Leininger and Mabel Leininger (Shaver); and his sisters, Selma Sullivan and Arlene Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Helen Leininger (Fowler); his sons, Gene Leininger (Eileen) of Sheldon, MO, Greg Leininger (Diana), Gary Leininger (Valerie) and Geoff Leininger (Jackie); his grandchildren, Ashley McKinney (Joel), Erin Garwood (Andrew), Lauryn Leininger, Glynn Leininger, Jillian Podurgiel (Chris), Griffen Leininger, Deanna Bickel (Barry), Lori Emery (Marc), Brandon Leininger (Angela) and Jordan Leininger (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Jaden McKinney, Anderson McKinney, Saylor Garwood, Mally Garwood, Braden Bickel, Blair Bickel, Logan Emery, Camden Emery, Boyd Leininger, Brynn Leininger, Breanna Leininger, Makaylee Leininger, Xander Leininger and Taygan Leininger; and his brother Wayne Leininger of Jerome, ID. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Sheldon Christian Church.
