He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Earl and Opal Maze Lindsey (McCanon); and his close friend Richard "Grady" Daniels. He is survived by: his husband Harry Eugene Engle (Gene); his children, Bonnie Jean Moore (Don) of Conroe and Rick Engle (Jolene) of Shelbyville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Shawn Allison Heimann (Brent) of Ingram, Don Sterling Moore II (Monica) of Spring and Gene Dodd (Pam) of Buffalo, Oklahoma; and his brother Max Waite (Deanie) of Poplar Bluff. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
