He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Delene (Best) and John Edward Davidson, Jr.; his daughter Ivy Madilyn "Madi" Whitaker; and his parents-in-law, Les and Ivy Mann.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Mann; his son John Davidson (Bethany) of Shelbyville; his son-in-law Geoffrey Whitaker of Monticello; his grandchild Adlyn Rae; his siblings, Mike Davidson (Mary) of Quincy, IL, Linda Daucsavage of Quincy, IL and Janice McMahon (John) of Camp Point, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Walker of Quincy, IL, Richard Mann (Susan) of Leonard, Phil Mann (Judy) of Monroe City, Pat Yancey (Bob) of Hannibal and Cathy Gerding (Bill) of Shelbina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leonard Cemetery or to the family for funeral expenses.
