He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ellsworth and Hazel Doris Arment (Lindsey); his brother Bill Arment; his mother-in-law Shirley Vannoy; and his brother-in-law Jim Mettes.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Vannoy; his sons, Brad Arment of Shelbyville, MO and Chad Arment (Lisa) of Philadelphia, MO; his grandchildren, Ashley Powell (Matthew), Brian Trenhaile (Kylie), Maverick Arment (Hallie), Brandi Stratton (Jacob), Dusty Arment and Chris Arment; his siblings, Patsy Mettes of Shelbyville, MO, Donnie Arment (Ruby) of Shelbyville, MO and Jeff Arment of Shelbyville, MO; and his father-in-law Charlie Vannoy. He is also survived by seven great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
