It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Shively of Shelbyville, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, John Oris and Verna Nadine Jackson (Lewellen); her husband Scot Shively; her children, Kevin Shively of Shelbina, MO, Hannah Drage (Than) of Columbia, MO, Adam Shively (Kathryn) of Chicago, IL and Meg Shively of Shelbyville, MO; her granddaughter Brooklyn Shively of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Kerri Greenwell (Todd) of Shelbina, MO, Holly Copenhaver (Danny) of Shelbyville, MO and Seth Jackson (Maggie) of Shelbyville, MO; her parents-in-law, Rose and Tom Shively of Shelbyville, MO; her siblings-in-law, Jeff Shively (Jenny) of Benton, MO and Melissa Redman (Joe) of Middlefield, CT; her close friend Trinity Dreckshage; and also Emma Lu Dimmitt of Shelbina, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several dear friends.
