We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2021, at the age of 74, Karen Claussen of Shelbyville, Missouri, born in Bloomfield, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlin Zaerr and Viola Zaerr (Fletcher); her great grandchild Conway Shultz; her niece Patricia Bragg; and her brother-in-law Elmer Bragg.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Larry" Edward Claussen; her children, Lawrence Claussen (Candace) of Chillicothe, MO, Mary Bell of Clarence, MO, Laura Schwieter (Randy) of Shelbina, MO, Lucille Warren of Shelbina, MO and Lonia Gubbels (Thomas) of Jefferson City, MO; her grandchildren, Serenity, Coby Claussen, Shelby Goings (Justin), Tamara Claussen, Anthony Claussen, Deanna Shultz (Tanner), Makenzie Schwieter and Lily Edmonds; her great grandchild Dawson Buckallew; her sister Leola Bragg; and her sister-in-law Louanne Smith (Jim). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
