She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Gibson and Ruth Canfield; her son Lonnie Burk; her sister Dinna Hardgrove; and her brothers-in-law, Buck Burk and Ariln Kistler.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Smith; her children, Vickie Lamb of Bellflower, CA., Jimmy Pence (Melissa) of Carthage, IL., Johnny Pence (Cheryl) of LaHarpe, IL. and Timmy Pence (Tressa); her stepchildren, James Smith (Kate) of Tomball, TX., David Smith (Tanya) of Shelbina, MO. and Heather Hudson (Everett) of Palmyra, MO.; and her sisters, Sharon Banta (Bob), Marilyn Burk, Geraldine Kistler and Cindy Dowdey (Larry). She is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
