He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thomas and Bernice Esther Marak (Walters); and his sisters, Mary Porter and Debbie Marak. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Irick; his children, Debi Roy Striker (Josh) of New York City, MO, Jim Roy (Courtney) of Kansas City, MO and Jennifer Patterson (Steve) of Shelbina, MO; his grandchildren, Matt Patterson, Michael Patterson (Madelyn), Miranda Patterson, Fisher Roy and Finnegan Roy; his brothers, Rick Marak (Barb) of Sparta, KY and Dennis Marak (Dorothea) of Rutherfordton, NC; his mother-in-law Maryann Irick; and his brother-in-law Charlie Porter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
