It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Spencer of Shelbina, Missouri, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Milton and Louise Wood (Murray); her former husband David Lynn Heathman; her husband Phillip Spencer; and her siblings, George, Murray, David Wood, Rena Dale, Winnie Reynolds, Nina Smith and Mary Ellen Dodd.
She is survived by: her children, Carole Griffin (Martyn) of Fredrickburg, VA, John Heathman of Benton City, MO and Pat Heathman of Shelbina, MO; her grandchildren, Andrew Carson, Megan Rashid, Kira Jerichow, Shaunna Wester, Maggie Schmidt, Bobby Adkisson, Russell Heathman, David Heathman, Gabe Heathman and Noah Heathman; and her sisters, Margaret Gilbert and Geneva McCubbin. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Memorials will be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Shelbina Christian Church.
