It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert William Shoemyer of Shelbina, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ely and Zella Virginia Shoemyer (Kropf); his daughter Cyola Ratliff (Arthur); his granddaughter Kelli Kidwell; his sister Virginia Mae Totten (Shoemyer); and his brother-in-law Donald Totten.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Kidwell (Gary) of Maud, MO, Shirley Hall (Larry) of Overland Park, KS, Tammy Ratliff (Richard) of Shelbina, MO and Wes Shoemyer (Cheryl) of Maud, MO; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Kidwell, Briana Kidwell, Jeffrey Ratliff (Heather), Scott Ratliff (Natalie), Brent Ratliff (Kristin), Jeanna Gaines (Troy), Elizabeth Daniel (Travis), Robert Hall (Rebekah), Rebecca Forrest (Matt), Shelley Truitt (Ty), Kim Viers (Brandon), Keith Ratliff (Jamie), Janet Phillips (Caleb), Wendy Arni (Nate), Laura Shoemyer, Amy North (Dan) and Andrew Shoemyer (Kelsey). He is also survived by 37 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
