She was predeceased by: her father Danny Joe "Checker" Reitz; and her grandmothers, Nadine Reitz and Helen Perrigo. She is survived by: her husband Rick Burkhardt; her daughter Richele Kirby (Tyler) of California; her granddaughter Leighanna Kirby; her siblings, Bill Reitz (Heidi) of Bethel, D. J. Reitz (Heather) of Shelbyville, Steven Thompkins of Shelbyville, Michelle Iloff (Frank) of California, Amy Perrigo of Indiana and Tony Perrigo (Becky) of Shelbina, Missouri; her parents-in-law, Dorothy Burkhardt and Richard Burkhardt; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Kendrick (Anthony) of Centralia and Kelly Saunders (Phillip) of Shelbina, Missouri. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family suggests memorials to: Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Helping Hand of Clarence, or the James E. Carey Cancer Center.
