He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Byron and Lois Annetta Peak (McClure); his sister Marcia Benedict; and his brother-in-law John Schroy. He is survived by: his wife Elke; his children, Carl Peak of Shelbina, Kati Braden (Jon) of Shelbina, Monika Whitmore (Alfred Ambrosi) of Lenexa, KS and Sylvia Hall (Tim) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Lyndon, Caynan, Owyn Peak, Lillian, Adelaide, Sophia Braden, Reilly, Mason Whitmore, Elias and Olive Hall; his sisters, Myrna Schroy of Shelbina, Charla Funk (Harley) of Huntsville and Connie Schwieter (Roger) of Shelbina; and his brother-in-law Wayne Benedict. He is also survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law.
