He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Jewell Rebena Freels (Harding); his wife Carol Ann Purdy; his siblings, Lela Marjorie Bryant, Mary Kathryn Hunolt, Carole Elaine O'Laughlin, Billy Freels and William Henry Freels; his nephews, Danny Bryant and Kenny Hunolt; and his niece Carole Dopson.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Ann Roark (Joey) of Kirksville, MO; his grandchildren, Landon Young of Kirksville, MO, Brandon Young of Kirksville, MO, Peyton Roark of Kirksville, MO, Grayson Roark of Kirksville, MO and Ashley Young of Phillipsburg, MO; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Young and Carter Lowe of Phillipsburg, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
