He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace "Tate" Simmons and Geraldine Simmons (Million); and his sister Judy Gunn. He is survived by: his wife Karen Davis; his son Joshua Simmons (Melody Simmons) of Shelbina, MO; his granddaughters, Sarah, Morgan and Hannah Simmons; and his siblings, Larry Simmons (Chris) of Quincy, IL and Connie Rubison (John) of Shelbina, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
