It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Gene McAlister of Shelbina, Missouri, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Eugene and Wanda May Mefford, Sr. (Fredholm). She is survived by: her husband Michael Patrick McAlister; her sons, Eugene Mefford of Macon, MO, Michael Patrick McAlister, Jr. (Kimberly) of Shelbina, MO and Leslie McAlister (Nina); her grandchildren, Kayla, Micaila, Nicholas, Brittany, Kameron and Capitola; and her great grandchildren, Kolton and Gunner. She is also survived by five brothers and two sisters; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
