He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Wood and Frankie Wood (Gaines); his siblings, Emily Maude Wood, Tim and Jeff Wood; and his sister-in-law Donna Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lou Christine; his children, DeAnn Farrell (David) of Shelbina, MO and Patty; his grandchildren, Nicole Roth (Andy) of Clarence, MO, Shannon Otto (Tyler) of Shelbyville, MO, Luke Farrell of Shelbina, MO and Iyla (Peru); his great grandchildren, Miles Roth, Tenley Roth and Kaelyn Otto; his brother Mike Wood; his sister-in-law Wanda Sue Echternacht (Lyndel); and his daughter Sue McCall of Australia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Shelby County Senior Citizens, or the Salt River Community Care Center.
