She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Marion Browne and Susan Elizabeth Corcoran Browne; her sister Elizabeth; and her son Michael Browne Clapper. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Notley Clapper; her son Patrick William Clapper (Tomoko) of Normal, Ill.; her granddaughters, Jennifer, Rachael Clapper of Normal, Sonya Mitts of Troy and Erika Samson of Gerald; and her brother John "Eddie" Edward Browne (Peggy) of Hillsboro, Illinois.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
