She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Buckman and Alice Buckman (Gilchrist); her husband George William Dimmitt; her daughter Alice Dempsey; her sons-in-law, Frank Williams and Tim Rash; her siblings, Mary Schulte, Jo Williams and Martin Buckman; and her granddaughter Missy Shively.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Williams of Springfield, Rose Shively (Tom) of Shelbyville, Kathy Dean (Ron) of Monroe City, Al Dimmitt (Vicki) of Shelbina, G. W. Dimmitt Jr. (Judy) of Shelbina, Milly Rash of Shelbina, Joe Dimmitt (Chris) of Shelbina and Ceil; and her son-in-law Tom Dempsey. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Altar Society or the Salt River Community Care.
