She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben F. Dobyns, Sr. and Bess Lasley Dobyns; her husband Jim Gasal; her brother Ben F. Dobyns, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Mary Dobyns.

She is survived by: her children, David Gasal and Elizabeth Gasal Ferguson (Jim); and her grandchildren, Lucy, Molly, David Jr., Harry Gasal, Joe and Jack Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Second Presbyterian Church, 318 East 55th Street, Kansas City, MO 64113.
