It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David McElhoe of Shelbina, Missouri, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Dean and Helen Delores McElhoe (Fohey); his sister Becky Karle; his brother-in-law Harold Frazier; and his nephew Justin Karle.

He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Frazier of Warsaw, IL, Don McElhoe (Robin) of Montrose, IA and Bob McElhoe (Kim) of Hunnewell, MO; his brother-in-law Rick Karle of Warsaw, IL; his stepmother Emma Lumley of Newark, MO; and his stepsiblings, J. C. Claus (Laura) of Bethel, MO, Dena Ireland (Patrick) of Monroe City, MO and Curtis Claus (Tammy) of Shelbina, MO. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, or to the family for funeral expenses.
