He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Lois Elizabeth Carpenter (Truelove); and his siblings, Mary Lou Nau and James Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Haislip; his children, Tom Carpenter (Angelia) of New London, MO, Chris Threlkeld (Kristin) of Shelbina, MO, Chuck Carpenter (Andrea) of Shelbina, MO, Lori Blanchat (Jim) of Arlington, TX and Brian Threlkeld (Shana) of Shelbina, MO; his grandchildren, Tyler Threlkeld, Dakota Threlkeld, Dylan Threlkeld, Thomas Carpenter, Amanda Schmidt (Evan), Anna Carpenter, Lauren Blanchat, Evan Blanchat, Noah Blanchat, Brett Threlkeld, Erin Threlkeld and Colt Threlkeld; his great grandchildren, Morgyn Threlkeld and Hadlee Threlkeld; and his siblings, Doyle Carpenter of Cordova, TN, LaWanda Roudebush (Peter) of Kansas City, MO and Mike Carpenter (Virginia) of Novelty, MO. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
