With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carroll Franklin of Shelbina, Missouri, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carroll Franklin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Franklin and Jessie Franklin (Robertson); his son Bart Leslie Franklin; and his siblings, Ralph Franklin, Ida Mae Taylor, Virginia Jo Hegg, Mary Margaret Franklin, Marvin Franklin, Delores Crane, Dwight Franklin and June Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (White); his children, Carroll Patrice Fohey of Hannibal, MO, Jessie Lorton of Hannibal, MO and Julie Neagles (Scott) of Hannibal, MO; and his stepchildren, Jeff Metcalf (Kelli) of Fort Madison, IA, Tammy Dent (Randy) of Jefferson City, MO and Lori Kraft (Ronnie) of Durham, MO. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
