He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert and Agnes Anna Greening (Reardon); his son-in-law Dan Snider; and his siblings, Theresa Smoot, Pauline Wood, Eileen Greening, Mary Imogene Greening and Bill Greening.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae Hooper; his daughters, Becky Kennison (Rick) of Shelbina, MO, Cindy Murphy (Melvin) of Shelbyville, MO and Ida Marie Snider of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Cathy Kelly (Daron), Amy Ingram, Matt Greening (Jamie), Chad Blaise (Jennifer), Andy Murphy (Felicia), Tracy Wood, Jeremy Kennison (Melissa), Ashley Boze (Tommy), Kevin Murphy (Janell) and Eva Mahon (Michael); his sister Carolyn Vogler (Marvin) of Moberly, MO; and his brother-in-law Jack Wood. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorials be made to the American Legion Post 376 or the Knights of Columbus.
