He was predeceased by: his former wife Hazel Ruth Copeland; his daughter Nancy Stauder; his son-in-law Jim Stauder; his sister Mary Donn (Willie); and his parents, Ethel Atkins and Tyler Atkins.
He is survived by: his son Mark Copeland; his grandchildren, Russell (Karishma), Randall Stauder (Kaitlyn), Nathan Copeland (Maggie) and Taylor Jones (Trey); and his siblings, Rita Hawkins (Randall), William Tyler (Frances), Larry (Jane Ann) and Ron Atkins (Glenna).
