He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Salkil and Henrietta Salkil (Beabout); and his nephew Henry Cook. He is survived by: his children, Pacer Salkil (Brenda) of Seymour, Angel Salkil of Springfield, Scott Salkil of Republic, Timothy Salkil (Sadie) and Joyce Thomas (Josh) of Willard; his grandchildren, Mahalah, Caitlin, Wyatt, Chloe, Dangel, Izzy, Luna, Autumn, Kaison, Curtis, Isaac and Elijah; and his siblings, Barbara Cook, Joyce Fattig and Danny Salkil. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
