He is survived by: his wife Glenda Mingus; his children, Johnny Alan Mingus and Amanda Jo Helms (Doug); his grandchildren, Tiffany Myers (Cody) and Braythan Alexander (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Brycen Owens, John Carter Owens, Isabella Owens, Isabella Myers and Laney Myers; and his brothers, Jack Mingus (Marilyn) and Jim Mingus (Penny).
