She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Gallion and Ida Mae Gallion (Kleier); her grandchildren, Shane and Ashley; her siblings, Cathy Garfit, James Gallion and Jesse Gallion; and her siblings-in-law, Etta Gallion, Dee Gallion, Archie Owens and James Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Earl Sampson; her children, Robin (Michael Fisher), Barbara Sampson, Sandy (Kelly Young), Andy (Tammy Sampson) and Amanda Brooke; and her siblings, Gene Gallion, Richard Gallion, Henry Gallion (Michelle), Alice Ragsdale (Johnny), Linda Owens, Elsie Smith and Carol Gardner (Joe). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
