The passing of Carmen Huffman of Seymour, Missouri, born in Newton, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 90. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carmen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Larimer and Pauline Larimer (Shaffer); her husband Frank; her daughter Paula Davidson; and her brother Rayburn Larimer.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Hofmeyer (Andy) of Kingman, Randy Brown of Ankeny and Tony Brown of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by seven step-children, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many other step- grandchildren, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Seymour (214 W Clinton Ave, Seymour, MO 65746). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Seymour Masonic Cemetery (899 W Clinton Ave, Seymour, MO 65746).
