With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bev Gray of Seymour, Missouri, born in Independence, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2024 at the age of 72. As we bid adieu to Bev's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bev has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Nielsen and Verna Fulton. She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Nielsen (Liz) of Neosho, Bill Nielsen (Pat) of Marengo, Iowa and Pam Doak of Grundy Center, Iowa; her sons, Jay Coots of Seymour and Nathan Patten (Michelle) of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren, Gwendolyn Robles (Gage) of Joplin, Hunter and Ian Coots of Seymour, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Liam and Ezra of Joplin, Missouri. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
