He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Kohler and Irene Kohler (Tutty); his son Ryan Kohler; and his sisters, Donna King and Bonita Scarberry.

He is survived by: his children, Doug Kohler (Lori) and Niki Hughes (Stan).
