It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Eugene Lankford of Seneca, Missouri, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beecher Eugene and Alice Elizabeth Lankford (Stark); and his wife Janice "Jan" Sue Smith. He is survived by: his son Tyler Lankford (Piper); his siblings, Tom Lankford (Marie) and Mary Lynne Crowder of Seneca; his grandchildren, Kane Lankford, Gabby and Christian Howerton; his stepsisters, Carolyn Jones of Henderson, Linda Murphy (Marion) of Ogden and Marsha Lopez of Duenweg, Missouri; his stepfather Glen Welch; his stepbrother Glen Welch Jr.; his stepdaughter Hillary Howerton; and the mother of his children Karen Clark of Goodman, Missouri.
